Risk Assessment (Working Safely)

Description

We can supply your Company with training to the workforce and management to be aware of the requirements to carrying out risk assessment and this course covers an introduction to the legislative framework of the regulations.

Duration

A one-day course suitable for any person in the workforce.

Syllabus

Attendees will gain a working knowledge of both the Employers and their own responsibilities under legislation relating to risk assessment, along with:-

• An introduction to the principles of risk assessment
• Why assessments are required
• The need to comply with and record any findings
• Basic practical assessments
• Identifying Hazards
• Classification of hazard types
• Implementing controls

Certification

Although there is no formal assessment, the trainer will assess each individual ongoing throughout the course and issue a certificate of attendance.

Numbers

Courses are run for at least 10 students, up to a maximum of 12. If you do not have the required 10 people, there may be a delay until the extra places are filled. There is no age restriction on this course.

Location

We are also able to deliver this course on your site, subject to a pre-course assessment of your premises, reducing your costs in respect of additional time out and travelling.
